The mafia in Pakistan extorts refugees from Afghanistan
The Embassy of the Islamic Emirate in Islamabad says that as a result of Pakistan's declared policies regarding the transfer of refugees' assets, "a mafia has been created in Pakistan that extorts refugees from Afghanistan and harasses them under various pretexts".
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Embassy of the Islamic Emirate in Islamabad has published a statement on the X channel saying that Afghan refugees and refugees are facing serious difficulties to leave Pakistan through the Torkham and Chaman crossings, and thousands of people are on the other side of these crossings.

The embassy added that "it is closely monitoring the challenges caused by the forced deportation of Afghan refugees from Pakistan".

The statement of the embassy said: "Limited possibilities, lengthy search for people and vehicles, insufficient personnel to register refugees, weak system and problems like this, have disrupted the movement of people, for this reason, thousands of Afghan refugees are on these two routes in the direction of Pakistan. They are stuck."

The Embassy of the Islamic Emirate in Islamabad also said that there is currently no clear policy regarding the transfer of cash and non-cash assets of refugees and Afghan refugees from Afghanistan.

The embassy added that as a result of Pakistan's declared policies regarding the transfer of refugees' assets, "a mafia has been created in Pakistan that extorts refugees from Afghanistan and harasses them under various pretexts".

Earlier, Sarfraz Bugti, the Interim Interior Minister of Pakistan, said that every family has the right to take 50,000 Pakistani rupees from this country.

The Embassy of the Islamic Emirate in Islamabad has also informed about the persecution of refugees and migrants with legal documents from Afghanistan by the police of Pakistan.

The embassy said: "Pakistan police arrest legal migrants under various pretexts and confiscate their documents."

The Embassy of the Islamic Emirate also said that if Pakistan had blocked the bank accounts of the refugees with legal residence documents, they would have given orders to the landlords that even those Afghan citizens who have legal documents would not rent the houses.

The embassy demanded that the forced deportation and harassment of the refugees be stopped "as soon as possible" so that the people will be expelled from the country on their own.

Pakistan's deadline for more than 1.7 million "illegal" Afghan refugees and asylum seekers to leave the country would have ended yesterday, but the authorities in the country have extended it by one more day.

However, there have been numerous reports of the arrest of refugees and asylum seekers in different cities of Pakistan and their deportation.

Pakistani media Geonews reported that if the police arrest the refugees from Karachi, Rawalpindi and other cities, they will transfer them to detention centers so that their children will be deported from there.
