90 people died in America due to storm and cold
According to the American media, after the country was surrounded by severe winter storms last week, nearly 90 people have died due to the extreme cold.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): At least 25 people died in Tennessee and 16 people in Oregon due to severe storms, and these two states are still in a state of emergency.

According to reports, tens of thousands of people are also without power across the United States. Freezing conditions are expected to last until the middle of the week.

According to the statistics published by the CBS media network, a total of 89 deaths caused by the weather have been recorded across the country.

While most of the victims were in Tennessee and Oregon, other deaths were reported in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Washington, Kentucky, Wisconsin, New York, New Jersey and elsewhere.

Three people in Portland, Oregon, were electrocuted and killed by a falling power pole while riding in a vehicle last Wednesday. The baby in the car survived.

Five people, most of them believed to be homeless, have died in four days in Seattle, according to the Associated Press.

Weather conditions in Mississippi are such that colleges and universities in the state have postponed the return of students from winter break due to these conditions.

While blackouts in most areas caused by the winter weather have been resolved, tens of thousands of people across the country are still without electricity.

Frost and cold winds will continue at least until the beginning of next week. After that, flooding is expected in parts of the western and northeastern United States as the snow melts and rain falls.
