According to IRNA, Zardari also expressed his condolences and sincere sympathy to the Iranian statesmen and bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the attack of the Israeli regime on the consular section of the Iranian Embassy in Damascus.

Expressing his concern about the humanitarian crisis and the genocide of Palestinians by the Israeli occupying forces, he called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Asif Ali Zardari assured Ayatollah Raisi that Pakistan will continue to work closely with Iran in all areas of mutual interest and strengthen it further.

He also emphasized the need to increase the exchange of information to overcome the security challenges of the two countries.

This is despite the recent increase in attacks by anti-Iranian terrorists using Pakistan's territory into Iran's territory. In the past weeks, we have seen several terrorist attacks, especially large-scale armed and suicide attacks on the two cities of Rask and Chabahar in Iran, and in most of these cases, terrorists who have sheltered in the territory of Pakistan, carry out terrorist attacks by crossing the border of the two countries. against Iran's border guard and military forces. In one of the latest attacks, Iran's interior minister warned Pakistan that the country's patience is running out.
