The US Senate approved a plan to deal with China
The US Senate has decided to allocate extensive subsidies to this industry in order to support the country's semiconductor industry and compete with China.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): American senators approved the plan to support the country's semiconductor industry in the Senate. This plan has been adopted in order to deal with China's extensive influence in this field.

Based on this, the House of Representatives of the United States intends to decide on the plan approved by the Senate Thursday with 64 votes in favor against 33 votes against and vote on it.

According to Reuters news agency, if this plan is approved, US President Joe Biden will promulgate this law by signing it early next week.

This law, which will be named the Chips and Science Law if approved, is supposed to allocate more than 52 billion dollars of government subsidies to American factories for the production of semiconductors.

This law also gives American scientific centers and research institutes the opportunity to enter new fields for scientific research and competition with China by allocating more than 170 billion dollars for five years. It is said that Congress should pass a new budget bill to finance this investment.

Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Democratic majority of the US House, said in this regard that he believes that the allocation of this budget can protect the national security interests of the US.

Mark Warner, another US senator, said: "If we didn't do this, our semiconductor factories would no longer be able to operate in the country."

The Chinese Embassy in the United States, in response to the efforts of the American authorities to approve this budget, said that it strongly opposes this action of the United States to compete with China in the field of semiconductors, which is a kind of attempt to expand the Cold War between the two countries.

America is one of the largest importers of semiconductors from China, which has faced many problems in this field after Washington's unilateral sanctions against Beijing.
