Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring:  The Ministry of Finance of the Government of Afghanistan, in response to the statements of "Antonio Guterres", the Secretary General of the United Nations, stated that there have been positive changes in the private sector of Afghanistan and the recent statements about the economic crisis of this country are far from reality.
 
According to the announcement of this ministry, for the first time the annual budget of Afghanistan has been provided without external support and from domestic sources.
 
The announcement states that paying the salaries of government employees, providing development projects with low cost, providing the necessary facilities for businessmen and investors, and increasing the level of export and import are among the factors that have led Afghanistan's economy to recovery.

In this announcement, it has been emphasized that the United Nations should try to release the foreign exchange reserves and remove the sanctions imposed on the banking sector of Afghanistan.
 
At the end of the Doha meeting, UN Secretary General Guterres said that the government and people of Afghanistan are facing a major economic crisis.
 
Guterres emphasized that 90% of Afghan citizens live in poverty, 6 million people are facing famine and 28 million people need humanitarian aid.
