Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amir Khan Muttaqi, attended a press conference after the "Afghan Regional Cooperation Initiative" meeting held in Kabul, and said that all the special representatives of the countries of the region In this meeting, they supported stability and security in Afghanistan and expressed their opposition to negative actions in Afghanistan.
According to his statements, the representatives of 11 countries of the region were present at the "Afghan Regional Cooperation Initiative" meeting hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul.
Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs has said that in this meeting, the implementation of major regional projects such as TAPI, TOP, Casa 100 and the railway was emphasized, so that the countries of the region can start working on these projects together.
Mr. Muttaqi pointed out that the special representatives of the countries of the region have been asked in this meeting to convey the concrete realities of modern Afghanistan to other countries of the world, especially to the United Nations.
He stated that the Islamic Emirate wants the rights of the Afghans from the United Nations and nothing more than that, adding that the seat of Afghanistan in the United Nations has been given to someone who does not represent any country or people, this is an injustice against the people. It is Afghanistan.
The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs added that the demands of the Islamic Emirate should be taken into account in the Doha conference that is going to be held on Afghanistan, and the representative of the Afghan government should be present in it.
According to him, in this conference, the representatives of the countries of the region were asked to make Afghanistan the economic center of the region, because it connects Central Asia with South Asia.
He said: Holding this type of meeting proves that the Islamic Emirate has done a good job in its diplomacy, because the countries of the region are trying to interact with the Afghan government.
This official of the Islamic Emirate emphasized that we call on all the countries of the world to take the path of interaction with the Islamic Emirate like the countries of the region, because the policy of pressure does not lead to results and interaction is beneficial for everyone.
